Remixed by Alap Momin this is what he had to say:

“First off RAI is literally one of my favorite groups to remix. Their vibes fit perfectly with mine. I had already done a couple remixes for them in the past: Super mellow, dubbed, drugged and ghosted vibes. This time around I thought, ‘let me see if I can go more upbeat.’ So I ended up with the Guido Philip Glass Mix. Sorta Deee-lite on Codeine vibes. After getting through that I was playing around with it some more and ended up turning off the elements I had added and just used the RAI elements. It ended up having this totally lush Phil Spector feel to it: Drums sounding like Hal Blaine and everything, ha ha! Figured ‘damn these guys need to drop both these mixes!’ Too lit.”

Royal Arctic guitarist John Leon about the experience: John Leon said: “We’ve had Alap remix material for us before. But for “In Sodium Light” he has taken us into a completely different dimension. Alap gets what we do. He is connected to the music and I think it comes from his deep love of Les Paul and Roy Orbison. But it gets reflected through a mirror with the concavity changed.”
